"I am supporting Denis Montpetit as he runs for the position of Local 4092 President. Over the years Denis and I have worked together serving our Union in many ways. Denis worked hard to make improvements for the Flight Attendants that would come after him by immersing himself in supporting the labour movement during the early campaigns that brought workers pay equity, same sex benefits, pension improvements, the right to continue working during pregnancy as well as trying to improve the working conditions and benefits for all Flight Attendants.
He is always there supporting other unions during strikes and lock outs.
His experience and understanding of our history will be very beneficial as we now face the new challenges of regaining a safe, healthy and fairly compensated workplace. I am confident that he understands the importance of encouraging and supporting the new generation of future leaders who are getting involved. I hope the members will take the time to get to know Denis during the campaign and consider casting their vote to him"

DENIS HAS EARNED MY VOTE
“The
reason why I am supporting Denis Montpetit as President Local 4092 is because
as Michael Jordon once said, “Earn your Leadership” or in other words, earn
people’s trust if you want to become a leader, Denis has earned my trust
tenfold.
Over
the last few years, I have seen Denis in action. I have been amazed by his endless energy,
always going out of his way to help anyone no matter the time of day. He has also taught me a lot from his
knowledge of our collective agreement to his dealings with the company. But most importantly, He is someone who has
always encouraged debate and open dialogue amongst his peers. I wholeheartedly
stand behind Denis Montpetit as President for Local 4092, I hope you will too.”

“I worked in the
Local office with Denis during our term in 2009-2010. I had never seen a more
devoted person, ready to go the extra mile for our members. His wealth of
knowledge about everything from the CUPE Constitution to our Collective
Agreement and its history are his greatest strength. It is indispensable for a
union to be able to share with the newer members where we came from and why we
have the conditions that we do now. Add to that his principles and reliability
and we have us a great leader!
I
am looking forward to reinstating openness and honesty to our YYZ Local. It
will be hard work to win the members back but I believe that with the right
team, it is possible. Please allow us to be that team.” Edith Gagnon
